Yes. Cheesecake! Smooth, flavorful, heavy...

I respect you for keeping on fighting after having dreams like that crushed. Keep it up!

When I retired a couple of years ago, I had a similar experience of focusing more on skills and knowledge improvement (ear training, theory, guitar, piano, on top of a continuing focus on voice with choir) rather than creating. I figured that would come in time and I wanted the skills to do my creations justice. And it has come -- I've been on a songwriting and recording streak the last few months, greatly helped by improved theory knowledge and guitar skills.

And I think a lot of us probably sympathize with the imposter syndrome thing. It's only recently that I've started to become comfortable thinking of myself as a musician, though I am still acutely aware of how much more I could still improve.

What a joyful smile over there! That you may always live for your purpose in music!

I'm at that same stage of gathering knowledge before diving in the creative proccess. We must balance the fact that we know that there will always be things to learn in music, and our goals. I have a personal deadline for starting to compose/produce, so I feel comfortable not creating right now. And there's the fear what if I find that I suck and I have to go back to my old boring depressing life?. So this is one extra thing to take care of, otherwise one would never give that step forward. I think its all just part of the proccess and as long we are aware of what is happening, the odds are for a good outcome!

Keep making the sound!

Thank you all so very much! Tonegym has been a tool that has shaped me into a better musician, and I expected that part of it, but I never expected the incredible and supportive community that would come along with it. All of you are Tonegym Heroes!!
@Yohai Zilber thank you for editing everything and reaching out to make it happen.
