Hey guys, first time in ToneGym and I was thinking about getting the pro-version, my question is: should I get the lifetime license? Do you find it worth it? I mean the price is almost the same as a new guitar... I've been playing piano for almost 6 years and I recently started playing the guitar but I still feel that my ear lacks ability. Honestly do you think this is the best place I could invest my money or there are other options?

give it a couple of months first and see if you actually are using it regularly. no point in paying for something you aren't actually going to use.

The yearly is probably the best to judge that, as 4 months costs as much as a year, so you might as well go for the year if you feel dedicated. So far I've got this and soundgym on pro for the year, I use both nearly every day. Who knows, that might taper off in a couple months or six or eight. But, if still going strong for a year, and depending on progress, then would be a good time to decide whether or not to invest

Also, if you're in no rush, go over to soundgym, get a free account there. Once you get to 75 soundcoins you can buy a 30% discount for tonegym (and vice versa in tonegym for soundgym)

If your serious about leveling up your music and your ears. This is college level stuff that allows me to train none stop. It lets me know my weakness so I can zero in on them. Like now I’m focused on mastering reading note and knowing interval qualities for that darn Notationist game(lvl 81). 👊🏽

With this information, getting to level 100 will show me I made an improvement.

One time payment for lifetime of endless improvement, I’ll take that pill.

I did one year, then switched to a lifetime, because I play every morning, and my ears are improving systematically. It is worth the price to just pay for lifetime, if you are committed to improving your ears.
