Hey Folks,

Happy Sunday! Quick question! I am not at all a piano player. Fat Fingers. Please excuse me if this question is obvious.

In reviewing where I am weakest, I have found that it happens to be within the game 'Route VI'. In the lead-up before the chords found in the answer play, what are those notes? I know it is to give you an idea of the key you are in, but what is played there? Basically, how is this hint helpful to me?

Thanks!

I believe it is a tonic triad.Other than giving you an idea of the key you are in,i think there is nothing else.

Thanks! So if I am in C, that whole lead-up is CEG, then full chord?

Yeah, once arpeggiated, and once harmonically. It basically tells you what the I in the progression is.

Yes that is what it is. Without that you have no frame of reference. (eg. G chord is a different chord in C than it is in D.)
